ToteSavvy

I bought ToteSavvy last year when I only had Ro because I couldn’t stand having a messy bag. I carry so many things that my tote gets heavier and hurts my shoulder. I was debating about the purchase for a few days and finally caved to purchase it. I have several totes that needed to be put to use so it was perfect! It was just what I needed. Plus, since Ro starting his toddler years I had fewer things to bring for him instead of a giant bag. The price was reasonable for this item since they have a mini and regular size with four different colors to choose.

Dr. Brown’s Bottles

When I had my firstborn, Ro, I bought Dr. Brown’s Original bottles, of course, considering being a first-time mom, you just want the best for your kid. So we stuck to it because it was helping him with gas, spitting up, and burping. The only thing I didn’t realize was that I got the wrong version of it. I should have gotten the Options version. At least with this version, you can take out the vents as baby grows up. The original ones must have the vents, or the milk will start leaking. Of course, I had to try it out because I was too lazy to clean the parts. I should have done more research about the various types of it before registering.

The Changing Table

It’s almost 1 am, and  Ry is still wide awake because he is gassy. He was screaming and crying straight for 10 minutes. Poor baby boy! I wish I could do something to help him relieve the pain. I already gave him some gripe water, and it helped a bit until he started hiccuping. So he just turned four months this week and sleeping through the night now. Thank God! I’ve had my unlucky nights of staying up late and trying to function with Ro, my 21-month-old, the next day.

Ry finally fell asleep around 2:10 am.  I’m crossing my fingers and hoping, he sleeps through the morning into the late afternoon today.  So what did I do between 1 am, and 2:10 am? Well let’s see, Ro woke up crying for a few minutes, so I had to comfort him. Ry was still on and off crying due to being gassy. He spat up a lot maybe half of 6oz formula. We just switched it from Similac Pro-Sensitive to Similac Total Comfort and oh boy! He wasn’t happy with it. I wasn’t sure if it was the formula that was stinky, or it’s just like that. It smelled like kitty litter or some sort. I think he didn’t like the taste and smell of it. The other day I made three bottles of 6oz for Similac Total Comfort and he only chugged down one because he was that hungry. Good thing the hubs was still awake and doing laundry so while waiting for it we watched the Disney channel with him for a bit.

Birth of a Mompreneur

So after being a stay at home mom for 21 months, I finally decided to become a mompreneur since that is the only way I will be able to spend time with my boys and family. I’m done with a 9-5 job because I know myself already. It is very important for me to watch the boys grow up because they are my world and the best treasures in my life. They give me the strength to thrive each day to become a better version of myself. Motherhood was a blessing for me and since I had my first born, I made the right decision to be staying at home. Thanks to the hubs since he was okay with it.
